What you can expect
  • All our sessions will be recorded and teens will be able to ask questions during the session. Cameras can be on or off. Every session will be a safe space for your teen to feel supported by us as professional mental health workers and by their fellow home ed teens.

  • There will be optional homework after every session which will focus on:

    • a practical technique for them to try out during the week

    • reflective questions for them to journal or think about between sessions

  • Participants will have access not only to the recording of the session but also the slides and downloadable PDFs of any techniques we’ve discussed in the group.

  • A teen moderated Discord server just for the members of the course, as well as a second Discord chat for home educated teens who have attended our courses in the past, encouraging a safe community both during the course and into the future.

  • Each of our mentors are available via email for your teen to ask questions, get support or seek clarity on anything discussed within the course. We encourage your teen to get in touch and stay in touch with us during the course.
