Supporting you through difficult times

Behavioural and family dynamics

Home education often shines a light on those parenting challenges we all go through, and can leave us feeling overwhelmed and alone. I am here to help you navigate through those times when you are struggling to build or maintain a healthy and happy dynamic in your home.

After the loss of my brother through failure of mental health services in the NHS, I decided that something needed to change. I went to university whilst home educating my children and completed my degree and Masters, and I now work to offer help and support to as many people as possible. I am currently home educating 4 children, and am looking forward to continuing our home education journey for all of their childhood.

I provide a safe, secure space for anyone who is struggling with parenting challenges. Whether this is through talking therapy, parenting coaching, plans and assessments for you or your family, skills building or just a place to vent - this is the space for you.

I have only one goal - to help everyone who needs it.

How I Can Help

Children don’t always have the words to explain what they are feeling and this can sometimes come out through behaviour, withdrawal, anxiety or frustration. I work with children to help them understand their emotions and develop practical skills to help them manage their behaviour.

This might include helping with anxiety, emotional regulation, low confidence, sibling conflict, friendship difficulties, or managing big feelings such as anger or overwhelm. Through supportive conversation and age-appropriate strategies, I help children build emotional awareness, problem-solving skills, and confidence in themselves.

Supporting Children

Parenting can feel especially challenging when you are navigating behaviour struggles, emotional needs or the unique pressures that can come with home education. Sometimes you just need space to talk things through with someone who understands.

I support parents by helping them explore the reasons behind challenging behaviour, develop practical strategies for responding to it and build approaches that strengthen connection within the family. This might include support with boundaries and routines, managing conflict between siblings, supporting children with anxiety or strong emotions and finding practical ways to reduce stress within the home.

Supporting Parents

Sometimes families can find themselves stuck in patterns that lead to repeated conflict, misunderstandings or tension at home. When everyone is feeling overwhelmed, it can be difficult to know how to move forward and things can quickly feel out of control.

Family sessions create a safe space where everyone can be heard and understood. Together we can work on improving communication, resolving ongoing conflicts and developing practical ways for family members to support one another. The goal is to help create a home environment where everyone feels valued, listened to and able to thrive together.
